Me sa Elizabeth te ekri: “Chè Sasha e Malia, mwen konnen ke nou nan laj rebèl adolesan nou, men nou fè pati de premye fanmiy la, chèche mwayen pou nou montre yon ti klas. O mwen respekte ròl nou jwe an. An plis manman nou ak papa nou pa respekte pozisyon yo an, dayè tout nasyon an, mwen devine se sa ki lakoz ke nou pa parèt tro byen nan depatman bon modèl la. Menm si sa, fè yon mouvman ak kò nou. Fè yon ti efò. Aji kom si ke White House la vo yon bagay pou nou. Abiye tankou moun ki merite respè, pa tankou nou nan yon kote nan yon bar. Epi sispan fè grimas ak figi nou, lè nou nan yon evèman ki televize”.

[su_quote]Dear Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play. Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department. Nevertheless, stretch yourself. Rise to the occasion. Act like being in the White House matters to you. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during televised public events. [/su_quote]

Apre anpil moun te kòmanse t’ap antre nan santiman’l paske li chwazi 2 ti moun, li te monte sou Facebook fè eskiz de sa li te ekri an. Me sa li te di:

Mwen te vle pran yon moman e fè eskiz pou sa mwen te ekri sou Facebook jodi an, jije Sasha avèk Malia Obama nan Seremoni anyèl pou padone kodenn nan Maison Blanche lan.

Mwen reyaji a yon atik epi mwen prese jije de jèn fi sa yo, nan yon manyè ke mwen pa t’ap janm vle yo jije’m lè mwen te ti moun. Apre anpil heures de tan ap priye, mwen pale ak paran’m yo epi re-li sa mwen te ekri sou entènèt lan, mwen ka wè pi klè kòman mo mwen yo te blesan. Silvouplè konnen ke santiman jije an pa vrèman nan kè’m. Anplis mwen fè eskiz a tout lòt moun ke mwen blese e ofanse ak mo sa yo mwen di an, e mwen jire pou mwen aprann e grandi, (e mwen asire’w mwen aprann) apre eksperyans sa.

[su_quote]I wanted to take a moment and apologize for a post I made on Facebook earlier today, judging Sasha and Malia Obama at the annual White House turkey pardoning ceremony.

I reacted to an article and quickly judged the two young ladies in a way that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager. After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were. Please know that these judgmental feelings truly have no pace in my heart. Furthermore, I’d like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and offended with my words, and pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I have) from this experience.[/su_quote]
